BBG Triple Mix

Since 2021, BBG as been providing mixed semen from 3 Belgian Blue crossbreeding bulls.

The BBG Triple Mix is a solution for breeders who want to improve conception rate in their herd.

How does it work?

With the semen mix from 3 different Belgian Blue bulls, the BBG Triple Mix offers greater variability in spermatozoid longevity. There is therefore a greater chance of having spermatozoa available for fertilization.

What about BBG Triple Mix results?

Improved fertility : the first study realized with more than 2000 inseminations showed that the NRR56 of the BBG Triple mix was 4% superior to conventional semen. Since then, 150,000 doses have been sold every year, and demand continues to grow.

What about easy calving?

BBG Triple Mix maintains easy calving. Only bulls with a similar high calving ease index are selected for the BBG Triple Mix.
